Attorney Uswah A. Khan graduated from Pace University School of Law. She was a recipient of the C.H. Revson Law Student Public Interest Network Fellowship and she also volunteered as a student attorney for the Equal Justice America Disability Law Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Writing from Columbia University, Barnard College.
Currently, she is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section, and the Fairfield County Bar Association. She is also the co-chair of the Women and the Law Committee for the Fairfield County Bar Association. Uswah is also the Secretary of the CT Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission.
In recognition of her excellence, she was selected as a Rising Star by SuperLawyer®
for 2015 & 2016 and was also designated as a Rising Star by the Connecticut Bar Association, family law section in 2011 and 2012.
Attorney Khan is an active member of her community and serves as a Special Master for Stamford, Bridgeport, and Milford Superior Court. She also volunteers with the Stamford Volunteer Program at Stamford Superior Court and the Stamford Volunteer Program at Stamford Superior Court. In addition, she is a judge and grader for the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition.
A life long Norwalk, CT resident, she now resides in Trumbull CT and enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children. She also enjoys regularly posting on her blog.
